Installing Bangla font in Ubuntu

Sometimes we have problem to install Bangla font in Ubuntu. If you want to install Bangla Opentype font SolaimanLipi. First, download the SolaimanLipi to your desktop. Then open the terminal (Ctrl+T) and type..

sudo cp -r /home/......./Desktop/SolaimanLipi_20-04-07.ttf /usr/share/fonts/truetype

Then again type…

sudo fc-cache -f -v

Finally, you will get a message fc-cache: succeeded. It’s properly done.
